La comisaría de policía de Desert Horizon cuenta con empleados del Departamento de Policía de Phoenix, que se encuentra en 16030 North 56th Street . Desert Horizon Precinct también es responsable de la estación de policía del vecindario de Sunnyslope, que está ubicada en 750 West Peoria Avenue .
Los oficiales no suelen estar en la estación para contactar; se envían a través de los operadores de comunicaciones de la policía llamando a Crime Stop al 602-262-6151 . Los auxiliares de policía están asignados al distrito de Desert Horizon y a la comisaría de policía del vecindario de Sunnyslope y están disponibles para contestar el teléfono y brindar información general a los visitantes sin cita previa generalmente de 6:00 am a 4:00 pm (excepto feriados).
Desert Horizon Precinct sirve aproximadamente 74.92 millas cuadradas con una población aproximada de 311,770 residentes.
Matt Giordano, our new Chief of Police Recognizes the power of communication between the police and the community, supports open communication, engaging communities, retaining current officers and making way for new ones. And a strong supporter of our beloved CAO’s and Bike Squad.
Lieutenant Scott Cain is another of our newest heroes in that he heads our Bike Squad and our Community Action Officers (CAO’s). Without the “boots on the ground” efforts of these departments, our area would look quite different.
